Mail In Tax Preparation Process

Because so many of our clients are located around the country, we’ve developed a very effective long distance system for preparing and filing tax returns. Typically the tax preparation process for individuals and businesses is as follows:

 1. Contact us for information and to receive a Clergy Tax Organizer. Complete the forms (which we mail or email in January and February) and send it back to us with copies of supporting documents.  First time clients should also include the prior year’s tax return. Our Client Representatives are happy to help you with this process. 

2. Your tax accountant will complete the draft of your return and contact you for review, usually by email. First time clients are scheduled for an in-depth discovery so that we can be sure to counsel properly and obtain all relevant information. You are also offered a complimentary financial review with your accountant and financial advisor to complete tax planning and optimize savings for future years. 

3. After your approval, we will file the return electronically for you and mail hard copies and a CD with a copy of the return to you. This packet includes tax tips and suggestions from your tax professional for the upcoming tax year. 

4. We keep in touch through out the year with our clients via newsletters and emails and strongly encourage that any tax planning or preparation questions requiring consultation with a tax accountant be addressed before the tax season. 

* Note: We also file tax returns for the children of our clients at a reduced fee. Watch your email for new services and products. Group rates are available in some circumstances.
